Most definitely! Our offices and training rooms are conveniently accessed by bus or train. Either disembark at Narre Warren train station, with a short walk to the office. Otherwise, catch a bus and disembark at Fountain Gate Shopping Centre.
Yes! all participants completing accredited first aid training will receive a Statement of Attainment issued by Australian Pacific Institute of Technology (RTO ID 45090) which will display the national accreditation level achieved, and the expiry date of your qualification.
We have a range of first aid qualifications available, introductory first aid courses as well as industry specific training. The qualification validity periods are a minimum of one year and up to 3 years, depending on the course you take.
Yes absolutely! Australian Pacific Institute of Technology provide onsite training to groups of at your workplace or venue. Please note however, there must be adequate training space and facilities available. If you prefer, we can organise a venue for you or you can attend our venue under a private booking.
This depends on the course you are enrolling in. Those enrolling in Provide first aid or Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting are required to complete pre-learning material before attending the practical training day. This is known as mixed mode or blended delivery. Pre-course learning can be completed on-line (recommended) on our user freindly and easy to navigate e-learning system or by hard copy workbook and manual. Those choosing to receive the hard copy workbook and manual by post will incur an additional $12.00 fee to cover postage and handling costs unless prior arrangement is made.
Our first aid courses are competency based and the skills you have learned during your course will be tested progressively throughout the training. Assessments consist of a combination of physical demonstration, practical scenarios and multiple-choice theory questions.
Yes of course! The Provide First Aid course does not require any previous training or qualifications and is suitable for all people over the age of 14 years.
It is a requirement of the WorkCover or SafeWork authority in most states and territories that a workplace first aider must renew their first aid certificate at least every three years to ensure their first aid skills remain current.
No, once your first aid certificate expires, you need to complete another first aid course to remain qualified.
